It took me three lawyers, and two years to build a fire under the Arkanas Farm Bureau Insurance Co., but they finally did it. The SOB's should have just paid me off in the beginning. It would have been MUCH cheeper for them.
yep, call your insurance company and let them know the info you supplied to the other guys insurance. They will be able to light a fire under their *** and get this moving.
What he said, you pay them every month; let them earn a little of it.
My guess is that the owners insurance company is looking for the drivers insurance company to pay. That is most likely the hold up. Do not know your state but some would have the drivers insurance as primary, the owners second and yours third. You should eventually come out OK. As said before get your insurance company involved if you have not already.
Thsnks, I go with progressive, should have listen my ins from beginning I will be calling them back on monday, they wanted to pay for it in the beginning, and reimburse me the deductible after the other insurance payed out. They had called the other insurance, and they said they were taking care of me, so said I should continue to work with the other insurance co. Only problem now is I don't have the money to cover the deductible. I think the other companies excuse to wait to talk with the other party is an excuse to put off paying me, mean while beatiful weather and no bike to enjoy it. Progressive has been very helpful in this, only reason they stopped helping is the other insurance co said they were taking care of me. I will also be asking them about sueing the other driver. To see I can get her to talk with the other insurance company.
without a doubt call your ins, and i bet your back hurts real bad now, and i bet you lost alot of money from not working and you need a loaner, and if you were to sue the owner i bet they would get right on there friend
>> I did everything that the other insurance company wanted, provided a copy of the police report, gave them my insurance info, got estimate by dealer ship.<<
You should have never approached her insurance company let alone run around doing their biding without legal advice. Hire a lawyer right now.
One thing I forgot to mention earlier is that you are entitled to a rental bike comparable to yours until yours is back in service to your satisfaction. Paid for by the insurance of the person at fault. Get everything you are entitled to.
I thought of this when you mentioned you were missing good riding weather but this may also encourage them to get off their azz and settle your claim.

If you are not injured, don't waste your money lining an attorney's pocket. They will pay, they just need to complete their file. Once that is done, you should get your check. If they still drag their feet, use your insurance, then your insurance company will get the money back from their insurance company, including your deductible. This is called subrogation, happens every day in insurance, no big deal. Just sucks that you have to wait a little while longer
