Warm N Safe Heated Jacket Liner and Heat Troller for Sale
I have a mens Warm N Safe medium size (chest size 40-42) heated jacket liner that I only used a few times in the Midwest. I'm in Phoenix now and obviously have less need for it now. I am going to list it on eBay in a week, but if I can sell it to a forum member, I'll save on the eBay transaction fees.
It's in perfect condition. Used only a few times. It comes with:
-The battery dongle (so it will work on any motorcycle that has a positive and negative battery terminal)
-The Warm N Safe "Heat Troller" which is their fancy term for a temperature controller. Without it, the jacket only runs at max heat - which is uncomfortably hot in most conditions.
-A belt clip for the heat troller, so you can attach it to your jacket or pants.
I paid $200 for the jacket, $60 for the Heat Troller, and $10 for the belt clip. So, $270 in all. I'm willing to sell it all for $160 and I'll ship it (to the USA) for free.
My eBay ID is Rock*Lives and my feedback rating is +164 (100% positive). Send me a PM if you're interested or to request photos.
I do not have any heated clothes but am interested in what people have to say but I see hardly anybody listing how long they have had these clothes. I would like to know how long they last. I have a 40 minute commute at 70mph (at times at midnight) to work and take my cage but my bike is my backup ride. and for the money I would like them to last for a few years.
My Gerbing jacket liner, with the older style troller and SAE pigtail is at *least* 10-12 years old now and so far so good. It fits into it's sack which is about the size of a nurf football so it's easy to pack. In fact it takes no more space than a sweat shirt so I carry it on any ride where there may be a chance of cool temps, or rain. The newer Gerbings with "micro wire" are supposed to be even better. If you get one get the troller thermostat too.
My Jacket liner is the older style; 3 1/2 years old. Works great, almost instant heat. I really like the heated collar. I had to buy my wife one after she wore mine once on a chilly ride. I've even used mine in my fishing boat late in the fall. I just ran it off the trolling motor battery. I just ball it up and stick it in a saddlebag, it takes up a lot less room then the warm clothes I used to carry.
No issues!
Another Gerbings user here, I have the jacket liner and gloves there nine years old never had a problem. I mounted the dual controlls in the fairing for ease of use.
Gerbings,liner,gloves,and dual controller..Works like a champ..
I have the same stuff, same results. I have the vest liner, not the jacket liner with sleeves. I'm comfortable riding down into the teens. Three years with no problems so far.
Gerbings jacket liner, gloves, and union ridge pants.... warm N safe dual controller I'm a warm, and happy rider.
I have friends with powerlet, tourmaster, and warm N safe gear.... all of them work great, and I've heard no complaints (other than the usual.. "why did I wait so long, before buying")
