I never knew you were not supposed to wear your Harley duds unless you were on your Harley. I like seeing trucks with Harley emblems on the back window even though I'm pretty sure the owner probably does not own a Harley. It makes me proud to be a Harley rider and makes me appreciate the fact that I'm able to own a Harley. As far as metric riders wearing Harley stuff, I always assume that any motorcyclist, deep down in his/her soul, really wants a Harley.
I agree with dogtownmax, at least he's riding a motorcycle. I've asked a few guys with Harley shirts on what they're riding, and they don't even have a bike at all. But I guess that's ok also, my wife got me an Aspen sweatshirt I wore for years before I was ever to Aspen.
Riding a bike is riding a bike. Sure we are all opinionated about our choices and like to show off what we have, but relax. In the judgement category, I always lose, because I am judging you. Who am I to judge you. You may think I'm me godamnit, and thats who I am, but really in the end it is all the same. I guess I'm feeling mellow today. I do ride a Harley and am proud of it, and also grateful to have it. We all know that Harley's are what people think of when they think of motorcycles.
my perspective on "TODAYS"biker image, ,,, run out and buy the latest MO CO's fleece, jeans, boots, etc,, ride this weekend,, back into the pleated slacks, blouse, n tie on Monday!!,,,, as for me,, Ill always have my iguana skin underware on!!! lol

Heck. I sometimes wear jockey shorts and I don't even own a horse.
