Never owned a foreign bike (or car) and never will, and I've been riding for 38 years. I can only hope those rice riders have had a relative in one of our World Wars and that that relative is proud of them. It's bad enough to buy American with products with jap crap built in, but to go and buy knowing your buying foreign boggles the mind.
Yeah man, I'm with you. It's just plain unAMERICAN. If I had a Honda lawn mower, I would pour kerosene on my grass rather than keep supporting something un AMERICAN. I guess if I had a lawn also. But a good AMERICAN should have a lawn. You are obviously a real AMERICAN and HARLEY RIDER. Good for you! Keep setting an example for the younger HARLEY RIDERS and AMERICANS.
This is a good thread. I like how it proves that you need to ride a HARLEY to be a true AMERICAN. Oh yeah, and have a lawn also.
I have nothing against metric riders but what I saw over the week-end really made me laugh.
I was riding out to have dinner with my harley buds on sunday evening when I noticed a bike coming up behind me really fast. He got within about 4 bikes from me and fell in formation. I could tell it was a metric because of the blinkers in the front but I thought kool, someone to ride with for a while until I get to my buddys house metric or not. He stayed behind me for about 10 miles then exits and starts hauling **** down the feeder. As he passed me I could tell it was a honda shadow but what I saw next almost made me lose control. He was wearing chaps, a bluejean shirt with a big harley emblem on the back and a screamin eagle leather skull cap.
I had never understood the concept of being a poser until I saw this wannabe. If you ride a metric fine, but don't dress in harley attire. You look like a loser!!!
eh. at least he's riding a motorcycle.
it easily beats the folks driving a pickup truck with the hd sticker while their harley sits in the garage.
IMHO of course... haha...
I resemble this remark!!!! Then again, when you have a bike with no bags and no intention of having bags, you need to drive the truck. However, I'm of the same opinion......at least he rides.

Hello Bluduece , you are right in posting this my friend. You are so right to be angry too. When I ride I also look at the clothes other riders are wearing specially when they are passing me becuase Im a very slow safe rider. I cant believe he would wear Harly stuff whwen ridin a Honda. It doesn mater that his Harly was in the shop he shoulda been wearng his Honda jacket. I also support American products even if sometimes my bike is in the shop because of the clutch problems it has. I would rather walk than ride a honda although I cant walk to far because of my diabets and I am sometimes confined to my office chair.
But we still should not be angry too much at the Honda rider because we are all brothers and even if he was quicker than you and passed you in his honda you should still pray for him and his Harley .
By the way you know that the guy that replied first KeithB has the same picture of you under his name? Is that a picture your kid drew? Maybe you are related maybe not but it is a big consicdence?
He was a faker plain and simple. A real AMERICAN would not be on anything but a HARLEY and would wear only the officially licensed HARLEY products. We have to support AMERICA.

You really need to get out more or see a shrink
