Smile Just broke even on extened warranty

Three weeks ago I Blew a rear tire 100 miles from nearest dealer. Dealer sent truck to pick it up, put new tire on and while rear wheel was off found bad bearings in rear compensator. Replaced all including the towing for$50:00 deductable. Since my 2 yr. warranty ran out I've had fairing brackets replaced, Lifters replaced, New compensator and torn up alternator replaced , transmission main shaft bearing replaced and two other tires replaced. By my figuring I have now been paid back for the cost of my 7 year extended warranty and still have 4 years left. Ask me if it was a good deal!

I'm glad you at least had the extended warranty to pay for your troubles. For a bike that's only three years old, it sure had a lot of failed parts on it. Better luck on the next 4 years.

Yea,it's only 2 years and 8 mouths old, got it April 08. guess I got a lemon. going on 70,000 miles. I hope by the time the warranty runs out I will have replaced everything and have a new bike! You know, glass half full.

I didn't get one for my bike..

Heres a list of work needed for bad parts I've had done to our 07 with over 30k....

Ahhhh-------------- nope
Errrr--------------- nothing..
Ohhh------------- nada...........

I had to replace 3 tires on rear,, Oh they all had a little over 10k on them and was wore out. 1 front at 20k.

So far I've spent $.00 for bad parts, several $$$ for chome, cams,

Only time she was in the shop for other than just reg service (once for cams) was a recall in 07 for a possible Elc short on the oil tank.

So I am still $1450 + tax and Interest ahead, which adds up to about $1800 to the good for 4 yrs.

Sorry U've had so many problems.
Glad I got a good one...
