I wear the Ariat Alloy Metal Mount boots. There is just a little rubber wedge on the bottom of the boot near the middle that you can kind of hook on your forward controls. This allows you to relax your leg just a bit and they actually work quite well. They are NOT metal and they do NOT attach to your peg in any way.

You guys crack me up.
I talked with a girl who had the metal mount HD boots and she didn't like them...sorry, I can't remember the exact reason why. Something about the way it placed her foot on the pegs. My guess is they were a bust so HD quit having them made. I'm sure there are still some around at various Dealers though.
I have the Ariat's and really like them. Somehow, I missed out on the pink version where where you guys with the pics when I was researching women's waterproof motorcycle boots? Oh well...next time.

Anyway, the Ariat's are super well made, water-proof, comfortable out of the box, etc. I'm a bit of a shoe-***** (it must be an estrogen thing) and I was/am more happy with them that I thought i'd be...ordered them online so it was a bit of a risk. I like the sole and the quality of the leather...not to mention, finally a comfortable foot-bed with an actual arch. The peg mount thingy is something I was leary of...it's pretty much of little significance since it's low profile. Don't notice it helps me hang on my pegs any easier.

Also, I just started teaching MSF classes and gave them a try wearing them all day on the range the first weekend i got them...am happy to say, they were quite comfortable. They are pretty heavy, but that's a good thing as far as quality goes.

Here's a link to the one's i got...they're not pink, but maybe if enough of you fella's write the company...I'm sure they'll make them up in pink in men's sizing....http://www.endless.com/Ariat-Womens-...ressRedirect=1

I have the Ariat boots and really like them, I am partial to Ariats though. The rubber stop on the bottom does relieve a little pressure on long rides.

Here is a link to the Harley Boots like the OP was talking about. I have theses boots and love the "peg bar" that rest on my highway pegs, they also have a concave area on the back of the heal to rest on the pegs. The boot on the other hand has to be the most uncomfortable thing I have ever put my foot in. If I could find another boot with these options I would buy them in a heart beat.

I have a pair of the HD boots with the rubber piece to hook over the pegs. After about a month I cut them off. I periodically had a problem with my foot getting hung on the peg. After I cut them off I no longer have the problem. I would not recommend them.

if they got hung on the peg , HD must have some serious **** going on under your foot . Ariat will not /cannot get hung , and are very comfortable and durable .

Yep. I want to design a set of super-strong magnet boots that will LOCK your foot to your peg. It will be an electro-magnet that will release if you press a button on your cell-phone or your garage door opener.

I just bought those Kuryakyn stirrup deals for 'HD custom' pegs. I have to say. I am way more happy riding long distance thinking my feet won't blow off the pegs.
