Default Reflectors

Have reflectors on the sides of my back fender that I am debating on taking off. Do you think this will this damage the paint if I remove them?

Take them off by sawing dental floss behind them. Shouldn't be a problem..

Or fishing line then use some goo-be-gone or similar to remove the glue.

Or spray a bit of decal remover along the top edge of them. They will fall off overnight.

+1 for the fishing line or the dental floss trick. I start by warming them up with a hair dryer and they generally come off easily. 3M adhesive remover or goo gone for clean up.

NO... it will not damage the paint. (unless you use a flathead screwdriver to pry them off)

And then take the stickers off the front downtubes of your frame.

thats so funny, i have seen a ton of threads over the years since ive been here about removing reflectors.

I dont even notice them on my bike...no plans on removing them.

last week a guy on a Sporty turned a lefty in front of me and had his reflectors removed...i barley say him once his head lamp was out of my line of sight.

kinda curious that we want to be heard with our pipes, and fight and complain for our rights to do as we please, but then turn around and willingly give ourselves a big minus in the opposite directions by removing other safety equipment.

I just took a hacksaw to both ends and welded the parts back together. Bike is a little shorter but its still cool.
