Touring on a Springer

Since your talking about bolting one on a Dyna, its a little different than just riding one of the MOCO's creations. First, you'll be talking about installing an aftermarket part most likely since the Softail Springers won't simply bolt on a Dyna frame without extensive mods. I have installed two brands of Springer on my Low Rider. First a DNA then later on, a Paughco. The DNA sucked, was noisy, road like crap, had no shock and handled awful. I later installed the Paughco and have been thrilled to death. It rides and handles great, looks a ton better than the cheapo DNA and bolts on without hours and hours of fabrication to the forks as well as the bike. No, it will NEVER handle and ride like a telescopic set of forks, but I have done many plus 400 mile days on it without issue. And the nice thing about the Paughco is its a simple bolt on fork. The only problem is its a two thousand dollar set of forks!!!
