Anybody that doesn't use the front brake on a bike is a disaster waiting to happen.

Most of your stopping power is from the front brake. More than most actually.

It's just asking for trouble if you go around dragging the bike to a stop by the back brake with no front.

use front brake more than the rear. besides getting harder to get old leg to pedal its much easier to R&R front pads.

Considering the front brake supplies something like 60 - 80 percent (unsure of the ratio, but close enough) of your stopping power ... Is that a trick question?

Front brake gives you most of your stopping power. Stupid not to use it
