That I enjoy the smell of motorcycle exhaust in the house?
There's snow on the ground; it's not getting above freezing today; there's a bitter wind blowing and I've not been on my bike in 6 weeks. Today I got on it and cranked it to run for just a minute, just to hear the pipes. Had the garage door closed because it's so cold. The smell of the exhaust in the house afterwards was not unpleasant. I may be losing it. Come on Spring!
GG, the smell of racing gas from an ol dhot rod or just exhaust from a bike you look at but haven't ridden is like a whiff of perfume (for us guys) from a long lost love. It brings back memories, brings hope for the future rides and makes the cold nights a little more bearable.
Don't worry, it was just 3 months ago that it was so damn hot we wondered if it was too hot to ride, this cold and snow too shall pass.
Yeah, it bites. Five year old, other family, work, holidays. Nuff said. I'm just waiting for one of those GA winter, 65 degree plus weekend days to get my knees in the breeze again. I haven't even gotten much ride time on the horses lately. The holidays are great for family togetherness, but I'm always glad to see them gone.

A+ Funny you mention this as I grew up with a bunch of motorheads, including an older brother, so the sound of an old hot rod is music to my ears, just as my bike is.
