I am quoting myself and correcting myself. I saw an episode of American Thunder yesterday where they were in an American Wolverine Boot factory making HD boots. He actuallly said that all of them were made in the USA. My HD boots have a Made in USA tag in them, but I just checked my wife's, and they have made in China marked in them. So I stand corrected.

"made by Wolverine".....Yep, at least some styles are.

"right here in USA".....check the inside label lately? Mine are made in China and were made by Wolverine.

Edit..............beat me to it!

That's why they invented google, so you don't compound an original ignorant statement with another one.

Pretty much every chromed accessory, clothing item and knick-knack at the dealerships is foreign made. Been that way for a couple of decades. And not just at H-D, but pretty much anywhere you go. Not saying I like it, but it's the way of the world.

Wikipedia dude, Bloomberg the same lying fruitcake white piece of thieving trash we have for a mayor here, the CIA??? really??? Tell you what, to avoid a conflict over bias and less then creditable sources, I will just leave it as my opinion to disagree until I see more of American made something on the consumer's market other then toilet paper and the cardboard rolls they are wrapped too. Do you even realize unemployment is still on the rise at an alarming rate, hardly the outcome of increased manufacturing in a country wouldn't you agree? As for your comment about me being ignorant, lets say I am just not gullible and there is no need to start a discussion like that.

You are free to live in denial as long as you like. Perhaps you're unaware that there is such a thing as heavy industry. The US has moved way past manufacturing the cheap consumer trinkets that we can't build as economically as the third world can.

You're probably unaware that the CIA Factbook is a very well respected reference. You apparently have a similar distrust of the World Bank, the Financial Times of London, Businessweek, Industry Week, and the WSJ. Where do YOU get your business and economic information? I'll tell you what, you pick the source and see if you can find any that say the US is not the number one manufacturing economy in the world.
