yeah they do, the 2011 comes with ABS and the funtion button ( odometer, trip, fuel range etc ) is mounted on the left hand grips side of the handle bars.
apart from that, not much difference.

All is not lost... many of us here on the salty air side of the Gulf of Mexico spray our bikes down once or twice a year with good ol' WD-40 or Jigaloo. I have a 8 year old bike that doesn't have one bit of rust on it so I must be doing something right... I ride in all kinds of weather including salt laden rain.
G'day there, i'm from Australia.
I spoke to Harley Australia and they told me my rust problem is more than likely caused from brake dust.
The reason why i find it hard to believe is that my mate has 2010 Softail and he's had no problems with rust on his spokes, yet he stores and cleans his bike no different to me.

I don't buy off on the brake dust stuff either, maybe a bad lot on the wheels. Anything to get away from having to cough up and make it right. btw, flitz, made in germany, is super for boats ,bikes, guns, you name it. Keeps em protected and works out the little scratches too. Kinda a bear on spokes though.

Had a set of $1000 80 spoke wheels start popping out in rust spots after 2 yrs and one weekend in the rain . Good luck on the warranty buddy and no brake dust DOES NOT CAUSE RUST , be very cynical about that with the dealer .

Question Rust

G'day there, thank you all for replies and thoughts on the rust problem i am having. I did speak to Harley Australia about my rust issue, they told me that brake dust can cause corrosion/rust. They tell me that it's written in the owners manual, so i read the section and part of it read, avoid splashing brake dust on paint & chrome when washing. Anyway, i sat outside with a few cans of beer, a bottle of polish, a lot of elbow grease and began to remove the surface rust. Most of it has come of, some places i just cant get to unless i remove the wheel.
Thanx again for all your replies and thoughts on the matter
Cheers Brendan

Back in the 70's dealt with the MOCO briefly about corrosion decided it was not worth the hassle or the time.Realized steel does rust and aluminum will oxidize not much these Co can do, as with car and truck Co's.Decided it was more important to ride than drive these people nuts.
