OK, here is my story, put apes on the Wide Glide and ran wires inside the bars. Cut shrink tube, put it on the table by my work, made all the solder connections and looked at the work bench, yep, shrink tube still on the table. For a second it runs through your mind, do I really need this just before you get the wire snips and cut and re do.

My idiot moment this week: changing out a dead battery and dropped the bolt that connects the positive battery cable. Spent as much time trying to find that bold - since I knew it was laying around the belt somewhere, and didn't know where it would end up - as I did changing the battery.

put on V&H exhaust a few weeks ago. Did the air cleaner at the same time. I put all the parts in seperate buckets. Started putting one of the manifold bolts back in, son of bitch wouldnt thread. Looked in the other bucket to see if I was in fact using the right bolts.... Started looking all over the garage, tried again, son of a bitch still isnt thread. Then I turned it right instead of left and went right in...pretty awesome feeling.
