Hey guys, I wanted to know if anybody here has delt with Competition Cycles in Port Washington, New York. They sell used bikes mostly Harleys and I wanted to know if they are a reputable dealer. I am in Detroit so it is a long trip there and just wanted to know what you guys may know about them.
If it is the same guy I am thinking of, don't waste your time. He used to have a small gas station with bikes and now it appears he moved down the road. If it is him, he has no real showroom that I know of. However, I haven't been up there in a while so maybe someone else here can chime in with more information.
Don't see why you would need to come here all the way from Detroit. I am sure you can get better deals away from NYC and Long Island.
Stash905, sounds like Ghost Cycles you are talking about. I think its maybe the same guy. I did a Google street map and that address shows a building that says Competition Glass, so maybe they sell bikes too? Sounds kinda fishy. The bike they have is a oddball or I wouldn't consider going that far, it's a 11 hour drive from me.
Yep, I use Rolling Thunder rather than going to a dealer. They know their stuff.
thanks
I heard that the owners of Hempstead Harley pulled up stakes and left..... they were always high in my book.
It's been awhile since I've been back
