How Hard is it to find a HD motor for this?

Default How Hard is it to find a HD motor for this?

im not looking to spend a lot of money on the motor any suggestions please first build!

Look on eBay and or call some motorcycle salvage yards. Look around your local town for bike shops and see what they might have.

You've a lot of options depending on money and skill. You could buy a run out donor bike and rebuild the motor, with the remaining donor parts coming in handy, if not now, then eventually. You could buy a brand new crate motor from the MOCO. They sell new '99 model year Evo motors for about $2900. Or you could go aftermarket with the best horsepower bang for the buck being an Ultima motor. There's also usually a few good older running motors for sale on Ebay. If you go that route just know what your looking at as far as the paperwork and numbers go so you don't wind up with something stolen.

I don't think a big twin w/tranny will fit in frame as is. Where did the frame come from? Looks British.

That's another thing. I need to know what I have to have to register this bike. the roller in the pic has a title. I just want to make sure i get the right motor and it is okay to throw it in that frame... im a newb

im not really sure what a BCM frame is i cant pull up any info with a goole search

I'm thinking BSA. Ain't no way a HD motor fits. And if it did it would destroy the frame.
