I wear and highly recommend these boots, which are identical to the FXRG boots but much less expensive. In addition to the features you see, they are extremely light and very comfortable for all-day wear. A word of caution: any boot that is waterproof will tend to be quite warm in the summer.
A regular mink oiling will make any smooth leather boot waterproof and extend their life by years........
If it has eyelets it's gonna leak regardless of what you do.
D-rings work better than eyelets as far as keeping you dry.
Makes taking them off and lacing them up much easier too because the laces slide easier.

I had a pair of HD side zipper boots that leaked like a sive. When they wore out I replaced them with River Road Boulevard boots. The River Road boots are VERY comfortable both for walking and riding. I've treated them with mink oil wax besides their waterproofing and haven't had a bit of problem in keeping my feet dry and confortable.
I have about 6 months on a pair of FXRG boots...the most comfortable boot (on or off the bike) of any style I have owned....feet stayed dry in a pretty good downpour on the only wet ride so far...

Thanks to everyone who replied....I appreciate it. I have a 20% off coupon at the local dealer and am going to check out the FXRG boots after work today.

Thanks....I like the looks of the River Road Boulevard boots and think I may go check them out at Iron Pony this weekend.
yes on the FXRG's! I have personal experience with these boots in heavy rain and my feet did not get wet.
They ain't cheap...but they do keep you dry.
Ride Safe
A good leather work boot with non skid soles and heels. Lace up and I prefer steel toe and a can of snowproof Give the new boots two good treatments and touch them up during the riding season Sheds water like a ducks back Carry pull on booties if there is a lot of rain on a trip. bur for normal summer storms the boots stay dry with the snowproof. Mink oil isn't bad either

They make a motorcycle version in black but I like the brown not as hot in the summer.
I wear Belleville 700 Waterproof Black Combat and Flight Boot. GoreTex lined, EXTREMELY comfortable and they have a removeable innersole for when you want to add a pair of heavy socks. They feel like you are wearing sneakers. $120 a pair and they are made in the USA.
