I have the Cruiserworks boots and I can tell you they are waterproof. I rode through one of the worst rain storms I have ever driven in, car, bike, or other wise, in Canada last year, and my feet stayed completely dry. I rode through rain for several days in a row, and my feet stayed dry. I was the only one in my group whose feet stayed dry on the way to Sturgis last year through Northern Arizona and New Mexico. They spent a couple of hours with a hair dryer and setting their boots next to an iron to get theirs partially dry, while I relaxed. Additionally, the boots are extremely comfortable, and you can walk in them for hours after you get to where you are going. No need to carry sneakers.
As long as Cruiserworks maintains their quality standards with whomever they contract their manufacturing process through, they are extraordinary boots. The only drawback is that they are a little pricey. I paid approximately $240, but you get what you pay for. I would certainly buy another pair.
I have the Red Wing logger/lineman boots. The thicker soles help with the height of the bike and they're very sturdy. They are water-proof. They hurt my feet bad during break in process because of the steel shank in the bottom of the boot. Now they are broken in an wear wonderfully. JMHO the best boot for me.
