Ramsey Custom Paint = HORRIBLE customer service ten thumbs down
Hey everyone,
I wanted to relate an experience with Ramsey Custom Paint. Be warned DO NOT go to them. While he does some pretty work, if there is an issue you will experience some of the worst customer service ever.
An acquaintance on another forum had some paint work done based on reviews of others that had used him. When he got the parts back he noticed the poor work, almost like an apprentice did the work instead of the main painter. He contacted him privately to try to get it fixed. After getting the run around, he made it public. The pics showed the horrendous work. Lines weren't centered or straight, edges were thick and stood up, the paint was beginning to peel upon delivery. It was just a mess.
Shaun the owner of Ramsey Custom Paint, did everything he could to explain it away justify it etc. He refused to make it right, either by redoing it, or issuing a refund. I am appalled at the horrible customer service that is shown by him.
I just wanted everyone to know. I had considered having some work done by him until I saw what happens when there is a problem. Its really sad to see that people are forgetting what true customer service is anymore.
Although I will never have custom paint done again due to every painter I've dealt with being a substance abuser, this forum is no place for unsubstantiated 3rd party ranting. If your buddy wants to post fine, but you have had ZERO experience with him.

Reason: added unsub...unsub...that word

Sorry but I have had experience with him. I saw the result first hand, and spoke with shaun and seen his attitude. Your statement is incorrect in that regard, and I wanted to share this experience so others can know. As I stated, he does good work at times, but if there is a problem its a fiasco.
its a biker forum not a painter forum. I think folks have the right to flame on this site. You might catch a little attitude for it but its an open forum. atleast someone wanting to use this painter might take a little closer look at his work etc. if he is good then he has nothing to worry about.
I say if qtrracer really is a Jonas brothers fan,
that alone is an issue I wouldn't want to share! With Anyone!
How dare he rant at you MechsHands!
This is an open forum however,
Thus subject to all kinds or responses! Even Mine!
LMAO
aka Enzite Bob!
don't get close, or I'll poke
you in the eye!
Hello all... just to clear the air a bit, I am the one who got screwed by Ramsey Custom Paint. He did a terrible job, and his customer service was even worse. If you are not looking for a painter or have no reason to deal with him then this thread probably wont mean anything to you. If you are in the market for some paint work and especially if you were considering going with him to do it, then I would suggest checking out the original thread about it here... http://www.1130cc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138362
If you do decide to go with him then hey... I wish you the best... I have heard that he does good work sometimes so maybe you will get lucky and it will all work out for you. I am just giving people the heads up as to what my experience has been like.
