+1
Engine oil 5K miles
Primary oil 10K miles
Transmission 20K miles

Using Walmart brand Dino oil in all 3 holes. 25k miles on the clock and all is as it should be.

It's your money, spend it/waste it anyway you wish. Keep in mind you're also wasting a resource at the same time.

My $42K Gold Wing Trike gets it's oil changed every 8K miles. Now nearly 50K miles on clock and all is as should be, using once again Walmart brand Dino oil.

If that's directed to me you couldn't be farther from the truth. I can't stand those communists bastards. They've helped ruin our country with their BS and lies costing million of lives and billions of dollars globally.

Default Oil Change

It's a harley, a glorified tractor. change oil, just add oil when it needs it. Plain old oil, synthetic stuff is not as great as they make it out to be..I don't think I've ver changed my oil on my scoots. But if you have a warranty, it be best to follow the maintenance schedule.

I ride my bikes March - November, but sometimes don't ride enough to reach the next oil change interval. Should I dump my synthetic oil with 3K miles just because the bike set idle for 3-4 months or just keep riding until the next interval?

I always change my oil at the beginning of the riding season, but im wondering if im wasting money by changing before I hit the oil change interval?

Thx.

I find it hard sometimes in the oil threads not to respond to the your wasting resources---your wasting your money---the implication that we are unintelligent because we haven't changed to reflect the times and the new great oil---we are making someone else rich with our needless waste---the my way is the right way ninnies. Opinions are like ******** everyone has one and some are. When you own a tractor and a Harley it is easy to tell them apart.
