I change all 3 holes after every ride. Can never be too careful
I change the engine oil when it starts to turn black...never keep up with the mileage. Use regular cheap car 20-50 dino...I have a 27 year old bike with an engine that has never been rebuilt...must be doing something right
I change mine (all 3 holes) every 2500mi Syn in the Engine, Formula+ for trans and primary.
In the fall I may run a little over 2500 or change it a little early to have fresh fluids for storage.
If you didn't see a reason to change it in the fall, I can't think of any reason you would change it now.
You must not ride much with a schedule like that.... I often ride twice that while on a two week vacation.

That right, I work for a living and can't take a two week vacation. I'm lucky to get a full week off. It works out to be about 4 changes a year on my Harley and 2 on my Kawasaki (during our 8 month riding season. (If I rode twice as much I could do 8 and 4).
On a long trip (like your talking about) I'd change all 3 before I left and again when I returned. If it was in hot dusty conditions (think Southwest in July), I'd change the engine oil mid trip.
