Leaving at 8:00am from Starbucks at Beach Blvd. Buena Park.

PM me if you are intersted. Going around the Salton Sea and back home on I-8 through San Diego.

You're going to hit rush hour traffic going north out of San Diego late afternoon. I'd stay east and go back the way you came to the Salton Sea. Lived in San Diego most of my life so I know of what I speak.

Have fun!! Wish I were there to go with at least part of the way.

Ridden here all my life. Lane splitting is a way of life.

Ride safe and have a good time - 7 below last night and about 6-8" snow here, so I probably won't be doing the same thing.

Actually I know I won't.

Wouldn't mind the trip unfortunately to much on the plate. Thanks for the invite.

Even though the 8 is a great ride, I would think the 10 east to the 86 south would be a drier road though. Have fun ride safe.

Not sure what you meant there??? I rode 450 miles today and didn't see anything except sunshine.

Big storm never materialized. My mom in Warner Springs was supposed to get 6" of snow and barely got an inch. Lots of snow on those mountains where ever that is.
