Take a look at the HD "Switchback" jacket. Also available in pants.

I bought a firstgear leather and they have 10 year warranty on all leather and 2 yr on textile/mesh. Just sent leather jacket back for a new zipper at no cost, they paid shipping both ways! Also bought a FG textile and a all mesh. For warmth the leather is the best way to go. Also I bought 2 of the 3 jackets from motorcyclegear.com use to be newenough.com.

I'd wear that jacket with anything I was riding.

If you like it, go for it. I wear a Joe Rocket Phoenix 5.0 mesh armored jacket in the summer and Leatherup leather the other three seasons. While the leather jacket looks "Harley appropriate", most would think the Joe Rocket certainly does not. And, I don't really give a ****.

The Joe Rocket isn't water proof but it will keep you dry in light rain with the liner installed. It's very comfortable and breathes amazingly well on hot days. With the liner, a long sleeve t-shirt, and a fleece, it's good down into upper 40s or so.

This is my mesh jacket (other colors, including solid black are available)

This is the Leatherup jacket I wear (vented and armored):

IMHO, for the price, & quality it's hard to beat TOURMASTER products.

I agree. I have a Tourmaster Air Intake 2 mesh jacket (http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/cata...t-p-269_3.html) that I use in the summer, and I like it a lot. It's well made and comes with both rain and quilted liners. Very flexible, and extremely cool even in 90+ degree heat.

All around great jacket. they used to have a life time warrantee, now it is five years, I am not sure why it chandged.
