Ok, so not a softail question, but... I'm looking to get rid of my ratty old leather jacket, and not really sure what to get. My hd stealer doesn't have much in stock so I'm having some problems. I'm looking for either mesh or leather, but I'm liking the mesh idea more and more. I need something half warm as I live north of the border, and waterproof would be nice too (not spending the money for the fxrg). You guys have any suggestions?
I have 2 Harley leather jackets, one lightwieght and the other with a zipout hoodie they fit very well and not so stiff you can't wear it when new. They are pricey but very good quality
I got the HD aeration jacket from a member on here and love it. Also had the fxrg but it is pricey as is all HD stuff. You can find them on ebay in the $100 to $150 price range. Link below with a pic.
I like the harley jackets..just dont want the logo all over the thing. Check out Firstgear..they make a quality jacket, I've had a Ranger leather for almost 14 years now and I wouldnt part with it.
Just got one of these. Very happy with it. Zip out liner is nice. Probably good year round where you live. Down here the summers get 100+ and it is not a light weight mesh jacket. Probably work good in a short rain storm.
That's great guys, I was really planning on buying harley, but the leatherup prices are just to good, think I might have to go with them. Kumaride, how is the mesh holding up? Do you think it will last?

I just picked up the Harley Freedom Rider jacket. Heavy, classic style and excellent quality - and made in the USA according to the tag.
To the OP, what size you wear? I have a couple HD Areation jackets to sell cheap. Perforated leather, comfortable but good protection. Just not my size anymore.
