after installing a new battery the in dash compas has disappeared , how do I get it back ?

Wow, I never knew they put a compass on a bike? To me, kinda like seeing one in a car. If its morning and the suns in your eyes, you're going east.

Soon, you will receive a crude disjointed ransom note from the Moco. It will outline monetary demands and give you directions to the drop-off point. You will need a compass to find it.

Skip all that and go to Wal-mart. A compass without a battery costs $2.39.

Do a search in the touring section, just type in compass. You will see that they are not very popular, partly because they are a piece of crap product, partly because many use GPS, and partly because the purists think you should just point your nose to the wind and go.
