Default New Tires

Even though I'm not due to change my tires yet, I bought a set of Avon's from Motorcycle Superstore, as the price was too good to pass up, and free shipping. Anyway, what is the best way to store these until I am ready to put them on? Also, does anyone see a problem if I run the Avon Cobra rear w/ OEM front (Dunslop) on my XBNZ. My scoot is slammed 2", if that matters. Thanks for any advice/feedback.

OK, used the search fuction and got the info I needed on mixing of tires. Softail comes with Bias front MT90B 16 and radial rear 200 55V 17, and the Avons are the same construction combo, so no problems. Still interested in any tips on storing the tires until I need them.

Optimal storage temps and conditions may be found in the kitchen, bathroom and living rooms. Stack two and you have a 1 of a kind footrest.

I've always heard that its not good to stack them on their sidewalls, stand them up if you can.
