I had a Train. Sweet looking bike. Bad ride for long hikes. I say if you dont get a bagger, then get the Glide...

I went for the WideGlide and found it to be smoother at highway speeds over the softails. The thing that is weird is just about all goodies to buy are listed as not for fxdwg (wideglide) - lots of extras can be bought for the softails.





I traded for the Electraglide and haven't looked back

Go with the WG, the term Softail is relative. My Fat Boy did not impress me with its comfort on long trips. The Dynas handle the bumps better in the rear. The suspension on the Dynas is easier on the tailbone.
