Yeah, I can't believe it was even in the show room. They should have kept it in back. Once I started to get serious I told them that once I pay for it, it's going home with me and that I'd bring it back for the repair.
Its not a flaw; the bike is obviously a special boardtrack edition. The emblem is on that way so that if the bike rolls over in the turns, the fans will always see & read "Harley Davisdon".
People that work on automobile assembly lines and build Harley Davidson motorcycles have some of the most boring jobs in the world. One of the things that plagues that type of work is complacency. These type of jobs historically with have quality issue unless there are very strict QA standard.
Case and point. There wouldnt be as many legitimate customer complaints if 3 factors didn't exist. Making substandard parts, building poor quality into a motorcycle and poor quality control.
