It is no excuse that we sometimes see 1st-time posters making unbelievable assertions regarding Moco's quality.
Actually, it is a legitimate excuse.
You can only fall for so many hoaxes until you start being on guard for it.
The same reason nobody trusts emails from Nigeria.
Some of those might really be million dollar opportunities ya know,.... (LOL)
The artifacts showing in the enlarged photo will have to remain a mystery.
I'm actually in the early stages of starting to "get it" why they pixelate in areas like that. I'm thinking it's part of the master plan to make stuff easier to edit.
This may be good advice. I'll think about it. -Thanks.
If you do that make sure to keep that work order. That way you have documented proof that it came like that. Now a days you need some kind of actual proof of something like that so I'm sure it will be worse by the time that tank is worth money. Just that way people won't say "someone just took the right one off and put a right side emblem on it". Put the work order in one of those clear paper sleeves to protect it.
That idea and what I just said it just what I'd do. Main reasons is because that kind of thing would seriously get on my nerves but that idea I could make money off the mistake later on. I'm only 25 so it's no telling how things will be for me as for social security and all that ****. Old Harley stuff is worth good money (at least parts like a whole fuel tank with emblems), so a tank with a factory mistake on it would be worth even more. It will take awhile to be worth good money but I'd be old anyways if it was me.
well i'm glad it turned out to be real for the newbie.. my hats off to him for sticking it out instead of telling us all to f ourselves..
me, i would have to have it fixed.. if i couldn't handle my bars off a 1/4" when i put the risers on, i sure as hell couldn't take the emblem being on upside down.
But each his own, your bike, your decision.
As for those who say its a easy fix with some double sided tape.. i have to disagree.. you can never match the factory cutting of the tape to the edge of the emblem. i have tried to fix numerous emblems and mldgs over the years and yeah it works, but its never the same. if i was going to have it fixed, i would want a new emblem.

Ok, I finally figured out how to get my signature pic to display. What am I not doing correctly to get my profile pic to display when I post?
Your profile pic isn't what shows up when you post. Go to where it says "User CP" at the top left corner. After you click on it look on the left side and find "Edit Avatar", then upload the pic.

Without getting into whether or not this is a troll since that's obviously been reconciled, his situation reminds me of the days when it wasn't uncommon to see Chevy pickups rolling down the road with GMC tailgates on them or vice-versa.
