my apologies for questioning the veracity of your claim. It is no excuse that we sometimes see 1st-time posters making unbelievable assertions regarding Moco's quality. The artifacts showing in the enlarged photo will have to remain a mystery.

IMO It'll be worth more than all those Anniversary bikes HD alway comes out with in the future.
Who knows Maybe HD might even buy it back,,, at a little extra $$$$$ for U....

I can't believe the dealer let it on the floor prior to fixing it. If they had fixed it first no one would have known.
As far as being worth more, it is worth more the same as a new car that left the factory with a dent in the fender is worth more.
I'd fix it as soon as possible unless you just want people to think Harleys are junk and you are stupid.

I believe you. No one would go to this much trouble for such a minor flaw. Personally, I'd have it replaced. It has no value and it's easy to fix or duplicate. In other words if it was valuable, everyone would do it.
