What I say do is spend the money to replace the tank with new emblems and set the current tank aside with the emblems in the box that the new one came in (to keep it in perfect shape). Sounds stupid but think about it, Harley stuff is worth a lot of money over time, so imagine how much a factory defect like that would go for. You'd get enough money from that to buy a whole brand new Harley.

Maybe I'm wrong about the idea though.

It's cool frogg. Although I was getting kind of agitated with the nay-sayers, you got question everything and flush the BS. Ride-free brother.

I would truly enjoy leaving it on upside down.

I think this is the best advice I've gotten yet.

Considering you had one post to your name at the time, you automatically looked suspect.
Troublemakers often take on "new" fake names to stirr up ****.

Then add the photo's tendency to pixilate like yours did (I never knew before this thread that it's a natural occurance).

The doubters were legit, and they weren't doing it just to linch an innocent man. The doubters really did think it was a hoax.
Internet hoaxes happen so often, it's easy to suspect someone.

Anyway, like many already said,.... Keep the conversation piece! I would.

Yeah man, I'm not trying to take down the Moco. Just want to figure out what the best thing to do with it is. If I actually have something really cool here, I don't want to **** it away.

I would leave it as is. I once ordered a new Ford Mustang that was delivered with a Cougar logo in the center of the steering wheel. Neat conversation piece the entire time I owned the car.

Wouldn't count on any kind of monetary gain though (A three speed classic Corvette is rare but has little, if any collector value).
