Dumb Boot Question
#12
Honey, sometimes TOO much research is bad for you (or funny in this case).
Why don't you just make like a girl, try them on & If you don't like the way they make your butt look, put them in the closet. Because they might fit next year or maybe your butt will look better. Besides they are just so cute and they match that outfit you will never wear. It just isn't worth the hassle of returning the boots, purse , outfit and jewelery.

Some people are so lucky. I have a kleenex box type foot, short and wide and fat, which requires extra wide widths. Trying walking into a shoe/boot place and finding extra wide widths to try on for fit. I ended up buying some boots from the Harley shop. They fit but were tight as hell. The girls in the shop said that they stretch quickly. I wore them for a day on and off and they were right. They hurt like hell for the first few hours but after a day they fit about perfect. Only prob is they are by no means water resistant or even dust resistant as my feet look like I had been walking through a dirt field after wearing them.

I wear 12 4E width boots and this is the most comfortable boot I've ever had on my feet. Also notice the zipper in the side. The first pair lasted 15 years.
The only thing I wish the boots had is a couple of vent holes.

I paid around $100.oo for my boots 10 years ago. Got them at Army Navy Surplus. Made by Carolina. They're high top boots and still stand up straight. They are waterproof (by experience). Steel toed. I have a high arch so had them stretched. They are plenty wide.

If you want a harness boot, this one by Chippewa would be the one to get:
...made in U.S.A. and is the coolest looking harness boot I've seen. JMO. Also has a removable Orthotic insole which, I would imagine, makes it a pretty comfortable boot, too: "This insole re-aligns the foot and ankle bones, distributes weight (which reduces pressure spots), and provides some shock absorption."
