If you are constantly scraping on a Heritage, you would grind the floor boards right off a RK. The Heritage has much more lean before scraping than the RK. The Heritage has a lean angle of approximately 25 degrees whereas the RK is approximately 32 degress (you scrape 7 degrees of lean sooner on the RK than the Heritage).

That is what I liked about the Heritage, even at that steep of a lean, the bike felt more stable than the RK at less of a lean. The reason for this, IMHO, is the center of gravity of the Heritage is much lower than the RK. You feel more like you are sitting "in" the Heritage and on top of the RK.

The RK has a real suspension.
