Finding Amsoil dealer
I have the same experience as U in finding it. Mobil 1 V-twin 20-50 is every where. and I usually buy it on sale every spring.
Also ended up going with the (Mobil 1, 75-90 GL) in tranny.. for me,, I am hooked on it now. IMO its a lot better than Formula +, or Bel-ray Hypoid I tried before.
If there's a bike rally near you someone there will probably have it. There's one near me in June and I'll buy a year's supply of oil and gear lube.

Call local indy shops. They usually stock it. Once you find a place to grab it your good. I used it religiously until my dealer got my ear about sin 3 vs ams. Now I cycle back and forth leaning toward the majority of time she's drinking ams with an occasional sin 3 change in there.
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Just a thought;
With all the millions of bikes on the road and track today, has
anybody ever heard of an engine failure attributable to a brand
of oil? It has to be the oil, not the lack of it, or lack of maintenance
or severe abuse etc. No hearsay but good solid proof. I personally
believe any oil that meets the manufactures recommendations and
is API certified is all you need. I myself still use what ever oil my
dealer loads it with at an oil change and two of my vehicles have
turbos, the bikes get synthetic and I change them. The only engine
failures I've ever had were in racing, and they were never contributed
to the oil brand. Things brake when you stress em and something
gives. All that's required in today's engines is timely maintenance,
with adjustments for severe conditions such as ex stream dusty,
many short runs in cold climates as well as severe overheating, or
contamination. Other than that..don't sweat the marketing hype.
