Thats right,,what oldbones said,,,just pick a good synthetic oil that you can get easily,,,I don't think there is a "best oil" out there,,but there is allot of good ones....
Amsoil/Mobil-1 Both good oils, I've used 'em both. Pick one & go with it..
That's what I did. I went with Mobil 1 20w50 vtwin oil and I also used Mobil 1 75-90 gear oil for the trans. It shifts very smooth and the clutch is easier to pull. The mobil is much easier to find and it was cheaper too. I also used a K&N oil filter.
Now if the weather would break, I wouldn't have to ride around in temps under 50.
Personally prefer the Mobil 1 due to ease of finding it but if you want to try Amsoil give Bob a note at the following link. He gave me a good quote shipped price once. Similar price to Mobil 1. The more you buy the cheaper it gets. I have no affiliation with him but he seemed helpful when I got a price.
