Default Finding Amsoil dealer

I have been using Screamin Eagle synthetic for about 15,000 miles. I have been reading and researching different oils. It seems Amsoil is the best. But I have been on their site looking for a dealer that sells Amsoil. And the sites dealer locater says the dealers near me are all residential houses. Is this how Amsoil sells their oil?

I looked at Autozone and O'reilly's auto parts stores and they don't carry Amsoil.I did find it on J&P cycles website but I would rather just buy it without having to have it shipped to me

Amsoil is ok but no better than Mobil1Vtwin 20w50 from Autozone. I would use the Mobil1 in your Sporty. In my 883 I always used the Syn3. Never a problem. Amsoil is too much BS IMO.

Not to get into an oil comparison, but I use Amsoil or Mobil 1 depending on my finances at the time. Yes, the "dealers" are just private individuals, but some Harley dealerships stock it too.

You can go directly to Amsoil's website, sign up to be a Preferred Customer and buy it directly through them. The Preferred Customer program will cost you $20/year, but you buy directly from Amsoil at their wholesale price, which is less expensive than buying from one of their dealers.

I think anyone can sign up to be a distributor.

Big car parts stores don't carry Amoil. Try looking at a speed shop around your area, sometimes they carry it.

SE synthetic is made by CITGO, but that's not the point. Amsoil is sold by individual distributors and some businesses too.
I switched from Amsoil to Mobil1 and don't regret it. M1 is cheaper as as good if not better. My bike is definitely quieter with M1.
I'm just sayin'

So Mobil 1 20w 50 vtwin oil is just as good as Amsoil? I saw the Mobil 1 at Oreilly's on sale for 7.99 a quart. MAybe I will go with Mobil 1.

I would and at 7.99 I would stock up 2-3 changes as the shelf life if you keep it indoors is 5 years.
