Default Just Returned from Milwaukee.

For my 50th, my wonderful Wife treated us to a week in Milwaukee admission to the Museum and also the Steel Toe Tour of the Power Plant factory. Very interesting, we had a lot of fun. Stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel across the river from the Museum.
She is a real keeper.

LOL, There was some other things we wanted to see as well. Used some vacation time and enjoyed our time away. Actually a red-eye Monday night to a red-eye Friday night, wasn't a real "week".

Nice, I'm going next month to watch the Brewers beat the pansy Giants and to show the Mrs the old country. The museum wasn't around when I left town, so I can't wait to see it.

Go early, have lunch, We took the guided tour, got to see some things you probably wouldn't see otherwise. The factory tour was as good.

Glad you enjoyed it. Milwaukee is a good city to visit in the Summer. Best to time the vacations for then if posible.

It looked like I probably wasn't seeing it in it's best dress, lots of cleanup to do after the snows. In the summer, I plan on being as far away from a plane to Milwaukee as my Ultra will take me, so it was timed well for us... ;-)

Looks like you'll be here Memorial Day weekend. If you're in town Thursday night, make sure to stop over to the Museum for Bike Night. Also, the Steel Toe Tour and Back Roads Tour that were mentioned are available on Fridays and Wednesdays (unless something changes). Spots fill up quick in the summer so buying tickets online is a good idea.
