Started at age 8 - am now 45. Started with a minibike (had 3 chains and two clutches) very fast for a minibike. even years later it used to beat my friends small motorcycles in short races.
Then I had a Honds CT70 and then an SR70, then a couple small motocross bikes, then the big dog the kaw 650 -OMG that thng was unbelieveable! A few more motocross and trail bikes and quads, a herigage and fatboy, a 1984 yamaha 200 enduro that I still have because I like to take it on the road till I see a trail ot a powerline and then go offroad. and my 06 street bob.
52, first bike was 360 Honda in 1980. Wow 26 years ago. My training was: "you ever ride a MC?" No "Can you ride a bicicle?" Yes, he showed me the clutch and gear pattern, had me ride some around and make some circles both ways in the parking lot and then said, "your good get out of here"
then i had a couple diff CB750 Hondas mid seventies vintag, Then a Honda Shadow 1100 , now my FDX

Been riding since I was 14...paper route money I saved bought me a ratty old 185 suzuki dirt bike...since then I've had at least a half-dozen dirt bikes of all brands and types then I moved to the street in 1988 with a Yammy Virago...went through two Viragos, a 750 Honda, A Honda interceptor, then I bought my first Harley...a 1982 FLT shovelhead bagger. I'll always remember the day I got it (July 2003) because it was the first thing I put in the garage of the first house I ever bought ...I rode it for three years layed up about 4000 miles on it (GREAT bike) and this year bought a new 2006 Standard. I'll spend the rest of my life with a Harley in my garage.
Been riding for a bit over 40 year's. This is what I've had so far.

Started at 17, would have started sooner but my Mom told me she would never allow me to have a motorcycle as long as I lived under her roof. She gave in after some serious lobbying and a promise to never ride on a street. (right!, just like I never swam in the river with my buds!)
