After about 13 years, I've had an '86 Shadow, three Ninjas (two 600s and on 900), a dirtbike, and my harley. Having totaled a couple of those, I was prompted to slow down a bit. ;-)
I'v been riding about 5 years and used to own a Honda until buying my
RK Classic in April. Love my Harley and ride it all the time. For whatever
reason, when I had my Honda I never really looked forward to riding as
much as I do now. I really enjoy tinkering with the bike and adding things
to it.
Started riding at 22...a Honda CB350...few years later bought a brand new 79 Sporty. After getting hit on that i took a 21 year hiatus from bikes to let my family grow up and my wife get used to the idea of another bike. Proud owner of an 06 Bob...seems things haven't changed much, these things still suck the $ right outta yer wallet!
I feel old now....minibikes early 1970's. First harley 1977 Superglide in 1979. So that means I have been riding for 34 years????Whoa! Well, maybe only riding H-D's for 27 years....thats better.
i'm 43, only rode one bike, my 06 EG, er,um, LEGALLY on the streets. rode around on a ratty p.o.s. 72 cb350 (never had a title or legal plates, LOL), back in the early 80's. never did get caught. then there was a buddy's son's beater kz650, again, um, not legally, and now that i'm older (and debatably wiser) my EG.
Had mini bikes, then dirt bikes, 69 Triumph in '76, '72 Superglide in '77 .... 14 or 15 Harleys since ... some old, some new. Got out of hand for awhile.
