Default HD Survey

So I have this "friend" who said that the dealer told him that if he took the survey HD sends him after the sale of a new bike, that the sales rep will give him two free t-shirts. Why would he want it? And should I, i mean my friend do it?

The dealer I purchased mine from gave me a T just for buying one. On the left breast it says "I got mine at" then states the dealerships name. One question how is the dealer gonna know if he sends in the survey? He can take the completed survey to the dealer, but that means the dealer will have to send it in.

I think your first post makes no sense. Based on what I piece together from your second post, are you saying that the dealer asked you to return your survey to them blank, so that they may fill it out themselves?

Three of the four new bikes I bought the dealer did the same thing. If you brought the survey directly to them they gave you another shirt. I believe they can open it because you took it to them and they represent Harley Davidson. They are looking to see how better to improve their sales force.

Ok, i will clarify. When the bike was bought, my "friend" was told that he will receive a survey in a few weeks from HD. He was then told that if he brought in the survey BLANK that he would receive 2 free t's. It says on the survey, "Don't return to dealer."

If you are giving them a blank survey, make a copy of it and fill out yours and send it in and explain why you are doing it and ask corporate for 2 t-shirts, you might end up with 4 t-shirts.

Real easy..... if you got great service and the dealer is cool, bring them the survey and get yourself a couple of shirts....... if the dealer sucks, tear them a new one on the survey, send it directly to Harley Corp. and forget about the shirts
