I was intrigued by the most recent October MoCo's owner's survey. One of the questions was regarding how much I would be willing to pay for an ABS on a Harley? An ABS would be a worthwhile option in my opinion.
I think HD offers an ABS on police models, so they have some experience.
It wouldn't surprise me to see ABS offered on 2008 bikes.
What do you think it should cost? I would think it would add another $500-$600 to the price.
By the way, one of the other questions was what I thought of adding cruise control to future models.
Well, I have repaired abs on automotive for the last 12 years. I must say the new systems do help control panic stopps on 4 WHEELS, But on a bike I just cant decide whether I like it or not. I think the cost would be around 350-600 but who knows, for what we pay for our rides it should come with it huh. I seen that in the moco poll I take part of. I do think cruise should be on all touring models for sure, but that is my opinion. Have a great day.
