Looking at a variety of bikes and just curious is H-D has tubeless spoke wheels. Tubeless are in most cases safer and much easier to fix in the case of a flat. Just wondering as I decide which Harley is best for me.
I was told the "profile" laced wheel is made for tubeless....the standard drop center rim is not. I can't verify it, but that was told to me by a salesman.
I have the laced profile rims and they are tubed. Cost me $400 to have a dealer replace one with 5000 miles on it when it picked up a screw on a roadtrip. Tube was shredded when they pulled it off.
If I had the money to burn I think I'd swap out the spoked rims for solids or mags. I have a feeling the hi speed wobble/vibration I have in my front tire is due to the spokes being out of wack. I plan on having it checked for true next tire change. You would think that for $400 they would do that automatically but they don't.

Wheel Works offers sealing for laced wheels which allows eliminating the tube.
I did a little web research and apparently the cost is (was) $59.00 per wheel which doesn't sound too high if it works.
Did you have this done or know of anyone that has?
I wonder how long it lasts and how they do it? What happens to their seal if a spoke needs to be adjusted? I would hate to be a real-life guinea pig but sounds interesting.
