Lets set the record straight first I'm not bored and looking for some attention or friends I'm in to much pain for all that BS.
So here is what happened to me 2008 Road Glide 4-12-11 I was ridding down HWY 50 traveling 55 traffic started to slow down so i slowed to 35 then front brake locked up and I flipped down the hwy. I have been ridding for 40 years this sounds like a rookie move, thank God a fireman & private investigator was in the vehicle behind me and witness the whole thing...
Has anyone else had this experience? I typed in the search engine on my home page harley davidson front brakes locked up and lots of articles popped up, so I thought i would start by asking around to see if I find anything. Yes I have pictures to prove it and the police report should be ready tomorrow. So please help if you can Cause I cant figure it out...
Thanks Rod.
I have never heard of the front brake locking up before. However; I had a rear brake lock up on me on a dirt bike once. I was on a sand road and skidded to a stop. That would have been dangerous on a street bike.
If possible, you ought to take your bike in to a dealer and let them check it out. I would talk to your insurance agent first before letting anyone touch it though.
did you have any done to your brake system? I have a friend who's front locked afyer he had some work done, the tech put something in upside down, he went sdown too
