I watched the devastating weather thats affecting your southern states on our news. The loss of life, the destruction, its enough to make you weep. I pray for better time ahead. Best wishes.

It was one hell of a storm system. I have been dealing with the wind associated with it on the road for three days. It came right through here last night, but we didn't sustain any damage. There were deaths north and south of here though, and of course in Alabama. Tuscaloosa got hammered.

Really tough, damn times are hard enough with out these people having to go thru this mess. My heart goes out to all of them. This is when a town or city for that matter all come together. Neighbor helping neighbor. that is the American way.

It sucked to live in SW Va. and NE Tn. last night. Spent the night in a dirt floor basement. At least are house is still here. Several people near by lost their lives and a lot are homeless after last night. My vehicles and home sustained some damage but all in all we are lucky.

The damage in Alabama is horrible. I just got my internet service back a while ago. Power has been out for two days. The President is supposed to be in Tuscaloosa today. He has already declared the state a disaster. A good bit of North Alabama is still without power. Over 200 killed. The two main storms split South and North of me. Decatur was extremely lucky. There is a curfew in affect from dusk to dawn. Gas is just now being made available. Lines in Grocery stores were a nightmare yesterday. We were told on the news that we would be without power for at least a week but somehow my town got theirs early this morning. Huntsville and other areas aren't so lucky. Some folks will be a long time digging out of this.
