HEY TBone and Yoman
. Did ya have a good time? See any nekkid wimmins
? Post dem pics!Get a sun burn on yer head? Eat any great food or drink wayyy to many beers? I know ya hoisted one fer me, right[8D]?Locals treated ya good?Hate I couldn't make the trip, maybe next time. Mother got a cold (just one of them pokers in the fire TBone)that progressed to pneumonia and at age 76 with breathing problems there was no way I was going. She has lost some weight and is weak, but has strong will and is slowly recovering.
This trip was different for some reason. There were a lot of "firsts" for me so I guess after it is all said and done, I shouldn't be mad at Yoman for stiffing me on this trip after all. Let me explain.
When Yoman emailed me to tell me he wasn't going, I felt like I had just received a Dear John letter. After getting over my anger that he couldn't call me to tell me and getting over the feeling that I am turning gay for actually thinking he should have called me. I decided to leave a day earlier. I then started feeling good about the trip again because now I can really hit the road earlier and now just ride whenever I want. After all, this trip for me was just about riding.
Friday - Day 1, I leave around 9:00 a.m to a good start. About 2 hours in the ride it comes a down pour. No biggie, I have ridden in rain before. Then after about another hour, the tornado that was in the Jacksonville area had just started making the winds where I was around 50 m.p.h. Here is one of the "firsts" I talked about earlier that I should thank Yoman. Driving in rain and that windy was scary. I know you guys are thinking why didn't I get off the road. Well the wind was so bad, when I pulled over on the side of the road, several tree limbs were flying by me and one actually hit me on my head so I thought I should try to make it to the next exit. Funny thing though, instead of thinking how dangerous this was, all I kept thinking was I am going to kill Yoman when I get home. On I-95 you can go 10 miles before you hit the next exit. And I did. So I stayed about 2 hours out of Savannah that night. No biggie yet because I left a day earlier so I am still on my schedule.
Saturday - Day 2, I leave around 7:00 a.m. and damn if it ain't cold. I actually thought driving in Florida would be sort of warm so I didn't bring any heavy gear. Stupid me, damn Yoman. I was so cold I had to stop in Savannah H.D. to buy something warm. Seems like other people thought the same as me because they only had three chaps left. Only one was my size and it was $289.00. I never liked chaps so this is another first for me thanks to Yoman. Let me tell you, they make a hellava difference riding in cold weather. I also bought boot warmers and would highly recommend them. Driving to Daytona was now tolerable. I also bought a face mask but after about 10 miles, I found it hard to breath with my nose smashed in so I took it off. Mind you my face was wind burnt from the day before. Around the Daytona area, it was still cold and found a lot of bikers were leaving. GOOD NEWS!!!! THE WAVE IS DEAD!!!! I must have passed 500 bikers and only 2 waved back. Anyways, I did stop at the Worlds Largest HD Dealership and they were still a lot of bikers there for theirparty they had going on. I stayed and talked to several people. I met some very nice people from Canada just traveling around the country. This was what I wanted for my trip. Just meeting other people so now for the first time, I am thinking of only hurting Yoman instead. I decided to drive some more so I can spend as much time in Key West as possible. So I headed to Miami for the night. Nothing really exciting today, just riding in cold weather.
Sunday - Day 3, Since I was now a little early on my schedule. Had to be in Key West that night to eat the worlds best hamburger at Duval Grill by my hotel. I decided to see a little Miami. Hated it!! It looked like te getto's in NYC. Now I know Miami is a nice city but where??? So I headed off the the Keys. Very nice drive. Still cold to where I had to wear a coat. My face now looks like a raccoon but every where else is white as a ghost. Never would have thought this in Florida. Stupid me, damn Yoman. I get in Key West ar
Sounds like a great adventure! Congrats on a successful road trip.
I've never been there!
I don't know a Barmaid named Malinda at the Garden of Eden, or Michelle at the Iguana.
I've never met a dancer at Teasers named Alexandra (Kelly from Vancouver).
I'VE NEVER BEEN THERE!

That's what you get for giving my spot away. At least if I went we could have griped and complained together..............You pansy.

Take it easy on poor ole TBone. He told me that you are by far the most beautiful, sweetestwoman he has ever met. Then again, I think I heard him say that to a couple ofgirls (I think they were girls) at a bar. Never mind.
