Stock pipes...who likes them

Struggling with keeping the stock exhaust or installing some slip ons. I would like a like more thump, but I don't need or want an obnoxious bike. Until I run across a bike with the sound that I like and find out what their running, the stock stays on. I have neighbors and yes I am concerned to a certain degree that I impose my likes on them. I guess they call that getting old or majurity. Wish more people would do the same.

Yep, had 2-1 on my Shovel and wanted them real bad on my Dyna. Got a set of V&H and in 1 week went back to stock. V&H were way to load for me. I was looking for the sound that the Shovel had with Cycle Shack 2-1.

This is exactly what I went through with my previous bike. I wanted more thump, but after a while I'd wished my bike wasn't so loud. I won't change the stock pipes on my new bike - - they're perfect to me ...

I like the way my bike sounds, haven't even thought about changing it. After all, it's one of the few bikes that sounds like a Harley.

I run SE pipes which are, compared to most others, very quiet. The stock pipes on the other hand are so quiet you can hear the rods click when they push on the rockers. In fact, you can practically hear every moving part on the bike. Could drive you crazy.
