I ride with my wife about 90% of the time. I let her lead so that the riding pace is set to where she is comfortable with the roads and weather conditions at the time (rain, hail, fog, cold, etc.) and also lets her take any curves at a SAFE rate. I tend to ride just a little faster when by myself or with some friends, which I wouldn't want her entering a turn faster than she is comfortable with. My daughter has a Nightster and my neice has a Yamaha 600 sport bike, both who ride with us often.
From a chick's standpoint, I think the better question you could have asked is does a woman riding in your group change the way you act. If you would have asked that question maybe you wouldn't have so many people talking about all the women they know that are competent riders...When I ride with guys, I'm treated like one of the guys. I'm just fine with that. They fart, burp, howl at women, cuss, and talk about their peckers all while I'm around. I think if you don't ride with women because you are afraid to do all these things around a woman then that's your choice.

How can you be sure that they haven't changed the way they act for you?
All I asked was a simple question. It is funny/interesting how many twists and turns it has taken.
It was a simple question: "Do You Ride With Women If There Is Going To Be A Woman ANYWHERE In The Group?" That is all. nothing more, nothing less. There is nothing there about "why" or any innuendos what so ever. Nothing, zip.
But I was called chauvantistic <sp>, gay, and other stuff. Very funny. Not only that, but it seems to be assumed that I do NOT ride with chicks. It could be I ONLY ride with chicks. But no one bothered to ask. But I got "ranked out" pretty good multiple times.
It is a simple question and ppl came up with unsolicited presumtions. If I was back going after my Masters in Psychology, this would be a good study. Ppl hang you b4 they even ask you if you do or do not ride with chicks and assume I do not.
I am referencing the comments made BEFORE I stated I do or do not ride with chicks. (If that makes sense.....now I am getting confused.) Anyways, the results of the pool is what I was looking for and it is overwhelming.
Thank you ALL for participating, it is greatly appreciated.
