When does your low fuel light come on?
on your bike? It used to come on much earlier, but since I have swapped tanks and fuel pump, fuel float, etc, it comes on much later. Today I decided to see just when it would come on. At 163 miles the light appeared. Not bad considering I used to be afraid to ride it more than 140 before filling up. How much gas is supposed to be left when the light comes on? 1 gallon? 1/2 gallon? Does anybody know? Yes, I have a manual...

anubisss: It's the only thing that annoys me about my bike. I don't even take it seriously anymore. It comes on shortly after 1/2 a tank. It should come on near 1/4 a tank then it is a real warning. It might as well come on as soon as I fill up.

Mine has always came on when there was 1 gallon left in the tank, which on my bike is right around 160 miles.
