Heading to the Harley Shop to pick up a new bike and I'm still undecided about which one. A Street or Road Glide? Any ideas on how to decide? I'm worried about the getting used to the fairing on a road glide since Im used to my Ultra classic
Get which one speaks to you the loudest...
I love my roadglide...
But I think one of the best looking bike is an ultra with no truck and lowers...
So a street glide with lowers and bag guards would probably look awesome.
I can imagine a RGU, sans the trunck would be pretty sick!!
I am biased
As my sig may suggest!!!
Gotta tell you, I am partial to my SG but, the RG is growing on me. It was just plain ugly the first million times I saw it but seeing what some people have done with their RGs, it has me thinking I could own one one day...Maybe...They both ride great. Get the one you like the most and ride the hell out of it...
Give them both a good test ride. I rented the RG on my west coast trip last year, and the SG on my NC/TN trip last week. Both were great, but I give a slight edge in performance to the RG largely due to the fairing.
