Working on a holiday..
Can be a good thing. No other commuters on the road! My ride to work was great. No bright headlights behind me, no lane jockeying on the four lane, no slowpokes in front of me, had the backroads to myself... Basically post apocalyse conditions - minus the zombies and impact craters.
The days are getting longer so I actually had a little daylight from the time I left home. By the time I hit the first town the predawn light illuminated empty streets. Just a little chilly, and a hoody was all I needed to be comfortable.
By this afternoon the roads will be jammed again. Be safe out there. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day.
