Have you any idea what will happen when you go riding in dirt, mud or rain? Fenders are there for a reason, but if you want to take them off...be my guest.

Looks cool if you don't mind sandblasting the front of your motor. And don't mind water in your face when wet. If you can pick and choose where and when you ride go for it!

I took the front fender off a dual sport once, and that lasted for about one trip down the highway. It's amazing how much crap is on your average street, and all that stuff will be in your face. I can't even imagine what riding in the rain would be like.

No front fender looks good on the chopped bikes in the magazines, but it's not practical for a daily rider.

I switch mine back and forth all the time. I like the look with out. I've have not to date picked up anything off the road... except water. Rode 50 miles in a serious down pour last year. No fender, no windshield.. I will agree with others here. It wasn't any fun!!! But ya never know what adventures lay around the next corner... that's one of the reasons I ride. Geez

You'll learn how to ride side saddle always sitting one side or the other of the seat so your not in line with all the crap the tire slings up of the road straight into your face and I do mean everything . Keep the fender , change or modify it but leave something up there .

If you like lots of paint chips on the front of your tank, water and mud all over you in the slightest of rain, and the dirtiest scoot in town, by all means remove that fender.

I ride without one all the time but I have a clip on windshield if it looks like rain.
